The future of the Indian Jewish community is the youth and as such we ensure they have a place to grow, develop and become leaders.  IJT provides India's Jewish youth with a place to socialise and have fun as well as learn and study together. IJT focuses on developing tomorrow's Jewish leaders by fostering volunteerism and providing relevant training.

JEWISH YOUTH PIONEERS (JYP)

YOUTH ENGAGEMENT

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Szarvas International Summer Camp

The Ronald S. Lauder Foundation/JDC International Summer Camp at Szarvas, Hungary is a programme that offers leadership training and community building to future Jewish leaders. IJT subsidises Jewish youth from India to attend Szarvas camp. They return to India with new skills and knowledge that they put into practice by running camps and educational activities back home. This unique camp offers endless opportunities to join in Jewish cultural activities, a multicultural Shabbat and make friends from all over the globe.

Gan Katan Volunteer & Teacher Training

Inspire the next generation and provide a comprehensive informal Jewish education during our Sunday Gan Katan classes. Youth volunteers will learn how to plan and conduct classes for children aged 5-12 years old. Those interested in becoming teachers will benefit greatly from this unique Gan Katan education experience.
